Scholia on Demosthenes: Against Neaera by Demosthenes Scholia

The prosecution of Neaera opens with a classification: its issue is conjectural, a dispute over what was done rather than over how to name or judge it. The scholiast names Theomnestus as speaker and records that some reject the speech as spurious. Later notes explain summons witnesses and the fine of a thousand drachmas on a witness who fails to testify, place Colias on the Attic coast, and comment on shameless prostitution and on the construction of epibouleusas.
