The work Fragments and Titles comprises the surviving poetic fragments attributed to the Hellenistic poet Theodoridas of Syracuse. Preserved as quotations and references in later sources, these seven passages include epigrams and lyric pieces. Notable examples are an epitaph for the tragedian Sophocles, cited by Athenaeus, and an epigram on the poet Erinna preserved in the Greek Anthology. The fragments exhibit themes standard to Hellenistic epigram, including literary homage in memorials for Sophocles and Erinna, sympotic culture with poems suited to social drinking contexts, dedicatory and inscriptional conventions, and bucolic or pastoral elements.
