Satyrus, third century BCE, is the name this site attaches to a Hellenistic writer of βίοι. The display string places him at Oxyrhynchus; the Life of Euripides is also given to Satyrus of Callatis in the work file. The papyrus is Egyptian.
What this site holds is the Life of Euripides on P.Oxy. 1176, in dialogue form, and Fragments on Alcibiades' Life. Diogenes Laertius is a later host, not these papyri. It is fragment of βίος, not a complete Peripatetic library.
