Aspasius the Peripatetic on Aristotle

What this site holds is a commentary on Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics, covering several books. Later writers treat it as the earliest surviving complete Greek commentary on an Aristotelian treatise. Commentaries on the Categories and Physics are named and lost.

The Ethics commentary is a Greek teaching-text. Later names, including Alexander of Aphrodisias, quote him. A book here is under his name, not a reconstructed scheme of πάθη and ἀρετή.
