Pseudo-Justin, On the Resurrection

Pseudo-Justin is the catalogue heading for Greek Christian treatises transmitted under Justin Martyr's name but written later. The treatise De resurrectione (On the Resurrection) was edited by J. C. T. Otto in the Corpus of the Christian Apologists of the Second Century, volume 3, 3rd edn. (Jena, 1879).

The treatise defends the resurrection of the flesh against philosophical objections. The writing is placed in the third to fifth centuries CE. It belongs with the spurious Justin corpus, not with the two authentic Apologies.

It is a late-antique apologetic argument on the resurrection in Otto's standard corpus, not a recovered chapter of Justin's own career.
