Φιλλὶς ἡ Δηλία (ἱστορικός)
Phillis of Delos
1 work

Phillis of Delos is identified as a historian of the 4th–3rd century BCE Hellenistic period. No biographical details survive. The attribution of a female historian from this era is exceptionally rare in the extant record. Her association with Delos places her at a significant religious and commercial center in the Aegean.

A single prose work in the Koine dialect is attributed to Phillis, but its title is unknown. No major scholarly reference work contains an entry or mention of this historian.

The complete absence from standard reference sources precludes any assessment of historical significance or influence. The attribution may derive from a minor or fragmentary source not covered by these resources.
