Salmanas the Alchemist is a name on one Greek craft book. Later headings call him Arabus Salmanas, a renowned craftsman. No other biography is recorded. Encyclopedias that say no work survives contradict this page.
What this site holds is the Method by Which Spherical Hail is Made, a short recipe in later Greek alchemical copies, among them Parisinus graecus 2327.
