Eutocius of Ascalon, sixth century CE, is the name this site attaches to a Greek commentator from Ascalon, who names Ammonius Hermiae at Alexandria.

What this site holds is commentaries on Archimedes’ sphere and cylinder, equilibrium of planes, and measurement of the circle, and on Apollonius’s Conics (first four books). A commentary on Ptolemy’s σύνταξις is lost. Doubling the cube appears as earlier solutions he preserves (Eratosthenes among them). It is Greek commentary in this corpus, not the base treatises under his name.
