Demonicus is the name this site attaches to an Athenian writer of κωμῳδία in the fifth or fourth century BCE. Later lists give The Arrhephoroi and Philargyros. The plays are lost; one brief fragment of the first is reported.
What this site holds is two Athenaeus quotations gathered as The Boeotian Banquet, naming bread (κριβανῖται) and a dish of chickpeas and beans. The catalogue titles and the banquet heading do not match. Both are later labels on lost κωμῳδία.
