Anthemius of Tralles, sixth century CE, under Justinian, is the name this site attaches to a Greek mathematician from Tralles. Procopius names him with Isidore of Miletus on Hagia Sophia.
What this site holds is a Mathematical Fragment (Bobbio) and On Paradoxical Machines as fragments: burning-mirrors, the parabola’s focus, steam and light as the anecdotes give them. A commentary on Apollonius is a maybe in the notices. The Suda’s book of devices is not a second autograph here. It is fragment, not the church as a mathematical treatise.
