πρὸς τῶν θεῶν, μειράκιον,

βουληφόρως 〈τὴν〉 ἡμετέραν, 〈ὦ〉 Δημέα, προκατέλαβες ὅρασιν.

ἐμοὶ παράστα· τὴν θύραν κόψας ἐγὼ καλῶ τιν’ αὐτῶν.

ὃν οἱ θεοὶ φιλοῦσιν ἀποθνήισκει νέος.

οὐ Μεγάβυζος ἦν ὅστις γένοιτο ζάκορος.
