ΠΕΡΙ ΤΟΥ ΘΕΙΟΥ ΑΚΑΥΣΤΟΥ Λαβὼν θεῖον ἄπυρον, λείωσον οὔρῳ ἀφθόρου· εἶτα λαβὼν ἅλμην δικαίαν, ἕψε ἕως ἐπιπλεύσῃ, καὶ γίνεται ἄκαυστον. Δοκιμάζων καὶ ἐπαίρων καὶ βλέπων, ἕως γένηται ἄκαυστον, ἕως ἴδῃς ὅτι οὐκέτι καίεται, καὶ λάβε τὸ αὐτὸ ὕδωρ ἄκαυστον, βάλε εἰς ἅλας ἄνθιον, λειῶν, ποιῶν ὡς τὸ θεῖον ἄκαυστον· τοῦτό ἐστιν τὸ θεῖον μυστήριον. Ἄλλοι δὲ μόλιβδον τὸ θεῖον συνλειοῦσιν ἅμα ἅλας ἄνθιον, καὶ ποιοῦσιν τὸ θεῖον μυστήριον.
