νείκεα καὶ χαλεπαὶ πρήξιες, ἐν δὲ δόμοις

τάρβος· ἐπὶ ξείνης δ’, ἢν μὲν ἔχῃς τι, δέος·

ἢν δ’ ἀπορῇς, ἀνιηρόν. ἔχεις γάμον; οὐκ ἀμέριμνος

ἔσσεαι. οὐ γαμέεις; ζῇς ἔτ’ ἐρημότερος.

τέκνα πόνοι, πήρωσις ἄπαις βίος. αἱ νεότητες
