Harpocratio: Τιτακίδαι· δῆμός ἐστι τῆς Αἰαντίδος φυλῆς οἱ Τιτακίδαι, ὡς Νίκανδρος ὁ Θυατειρηνὸς ἐν τῷ Περὶ τῶν δήμων δηλοῖ. Μήποτε δὲ ἀπὸ Τιτάκου ὠνομάσθησαν, οὗ μνημονεύει Ἡρόδοτος Harpocratio: Θυργωνίδαι. Νίκανδρος ὁ Θυατει ρηνὸς ἐν τῷ περὶ τῶν δήμων, «Μετετέθησαν, φησὶν, ἐξ Αἰαντίδος Ἀφιδναῖοι, Περρίδαι, Τιτακίδαι, Θυργω νίδαι.»
